TaskIt is task management and workflow software for organisations where work is delegated, handed over and reviewed rather than simply ticked off.
Most task tools are built around a list. That works while each item belongs to one person from beginning to end — and stops working the moment somebody goes on leave, a shift changes, or a job needs three people in sequence. At that point the tool records a new name and the story of the work disappears.
TaskIt was built around the opposite assumption: that in a real business, work moves. A task keeps one ID for its whole life, and every time it changes hands the transfer itself is recorded — who had it, what they finished, what they left, how far along it was and when. The same instinct produced department queues for work whose owner is not obvious yet, and an append-only audit log for questions that arrive weeks later.
It is a multi-tenant product: each company gets an isolated workspace with its own people, departments, roles, task forms and data, reached at its own workspace path. It runs in a browser — there is no app to install — and it is used most often by teams of roughly ten to a hundred people, in businesses where the operational work is the business rather than a side effect of a project plan.

Each of these is a constraint the software actually holds to, not a value statement.
The record is the point
Reassigning a task loses the story, so TaskIt records the transfer itself — previous owner, next owner, what was completed, what is pending, notes, progress and the time, all on one task ID. Most of the product follows from that single decision.
Say what it does, not what it could
Every capability described on this site corresponds to code in the product, in the words the interface uses. Where something is not built — a rule engine, auto-assignment, a client portal — the pages say so rather than leaving it ambiguous.
No invented numbers
Performance figures are subtractions between timestamps the product already stores. Nothing is scored, weighted or estimated, and a duration is only averaged when both ends genuinely exist.
Measurement, never surveillance
There is no timer, timesheet, effort log, screen capture or location tracking anywhere in the product. What is recorded is what people did to the work, which is a different thing from what they did at their desks.
Access is what you granted
Permissions come from the list stored on a role. A base role of Admin, Manager or Employee grants nothing at runtime, so a role that was deliberately narrowed stays narrowed — including as new permissions are added.
Private by default
The product is served from a separate hostname from this site, sits entirely behind authentication, and every route is set to no-index unless a page explicitly opts in. No workspace, account or task URL is ever published.

Your workspace data is yours. Tasks, comments, activity history, audit logs and reports are never deleted for non-payment — the only thing any automatic cleanup ever removes is stored files, under the rules set out in the Terms and the Privacy Policy.
