Terms & Conditions

These terms govern your use of TaskIt, the task management and workflow platform operated by JIN Solutions. They cover what you may do with the service, what we commit to, how billing and GST work, and who owns what. Please read them before creating a workspace.
Contents

01Acceptance of Terms

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between JIN Solutions (“we”, “us”, “our”), which operates the TaskIt platform, and the organisation and individuals using it (“you”, “your”, the “Customer”).

By creating a workspace, signing in, or using TaskIt in any way, you confirm that you have read and accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, which are incorporated into this agreement by reference. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.

Where you accept these Terms on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to bind that company, and “you” means that company.

02Eligibility

To create or use a TaskIt workspace, you must:

  • be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a contract;
  • be using the service for a business, organisational or professional purpose — TaskIt is not a consumer product;
  • provide accurate registration details, including a working email address and, where you want WhatsApp notifications, a valid mobile number;
  • not be barred from receiving the service under the laws of India or any applicable sanctions regime.

We may decline, suspend or close any registration that does not meet these requirements.

03Subscription Plans

Every new workspace begins with a 30-day free trial. The trial includes every feature — the WhatsApp module among them, at no cost — and requires no payment card. Two limits apply to it, and only to it:

  • Cloud storage is capped at 1 GB, free of charge. Once that is reached, further uploads are refused until you purchase storage. This is the only storage included at no cost anywhere in the service.
  • Uploaded files are kept for 15 days and are then deleted automatically. Only the stored files are removed. Your tasks, comments, activity history, audit logs, users and reports are never deleted by this, and every deletion is recorded in your audit log.

Subscribing stops the automatic deletion — files are no longer removed on a timer, and everything already in the workspace is preserved. Storage itself is purchased separately: the trial’s free 1 GB does not carry over, so a workspace that subscribes without buying storage keeps and can download every existing file but cannot upload new ones until it does. When the trial ends without a subscription, continued access requires a paid plan.

Plans are fixed-term and the three are feature-identical. A plan carries no charge of its own. It determines only how long a paid period runs and how many months your team and any modules are billed for in advance. Everything you pay is set out in the add-on table below — principally ₹45 per active team member per month.

Subscription terms, and what a team of ten costs on each, exclusive of GST
PlanTermPlan feeA team of 10 (excl. GST)
StarterMonthlyNone₹450/month
Growth6 MonthsNone₹2,700 per 6 months
BusinessAnnualNone₹5,400 per 12 months

Each plan includes unlimited departments, task forms, roles and permissions, lifetime data history and reporting. Cloud storage is not included with any plan — it is purchased by the GB through the add-on below. A workspace that subscribes without buying storage can still use every other feature, but cannot upload new files. Add-ons are quoted per month and charged for your plan’s full term on the same invoice:

Add-ons and their monthly prices, exclusive of GST
Add-onPriceWhat it covers
WhatsApp Module₹499/monthTask, handover and report notifications delivered over WhatsApp. Free during your trial.
Cloud Storage₹249 per GB/monthCloud storage for your files, bought by the GB. Trials include 1 GB free; paid plans add exactly what you purchase.
Employees₹45 per employee/monthCharged for every active member of the workspace. The quantity tracks your team automatically.

The employee charge is not optional and is not a number you choose. It is calculated from the number of active members in your workspace at the time an invoice is issued — adding, activating, deactivating or removing someone changes it automatically, and your subscription page always shows the current figure and what your next invoice will come to.

You may change your plan or your optional add-ons at any time from your subscription page. Changes apply from your next invoice; a period you have already paid for runs to its end date. Current prices are always those published on the pricing page, and we may revise them on 30 days’ notice — a revision never changes the price of a term you have already paid for.

04Billing and Payment

Payments are processed by Razorpay, our payment gateway. We do not receive or store your card number, CVV, UPI PIN or netbanking credentials at any point — those are handled entirely by Razorpay under their own terms and PCI-DSS obligations.

There is no auto-renewal and no standing mandate.

TaskIt charges one-off payments that you initiate from your subscription page. We hold no e-mandate, standing instruction or saved card, so your subscription can never renew itself or be charged without an action by you. Access ends when a paid term expires unless you renew it.
  • Paying an invoice extends access by that invoice’s own term — a 12-month Business payment grants 12 months.
  • Every payment produces a GST-compliant tax invoice, downloadable as a PDF from your subscription page.
  • All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and payable in full and in advance of the term they cover.
  • If a term expires without payment, workspace access is paused. Your data is retained — see Suspension & Termination.

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

05GST and Taxes

Every price we publish — plan prices and add-on prices alike — is exclusive of GST. Goods and Services Tax is added at the prevailing rate, currently 18%, and applied once to the combined subtotal of your team and any add-ons.

Worked example of GST — a team of ten, no optional modules
PlanSubtotalGST @ 18%Total payable
Starter₹450₹81₹531
Growth₹2,700₹486₹3,186
Business₹5,400₹972₹6,372
  • Tax is charged and collected under the GST law of India, and every invoice we issue is a valid tax invoice showing the tax separately.
  • If the statutory rate changes, the new rate applies to invoices issued after the change; it does not alter an invoice already issued.
  • To claim input tax credit, add your GSTIN and registered business name to your workspace billing details before the invoice is issued. We cannot reissue an invoice to add a GSTIN after the fact where GST law does not permit it.
  • Any withholding or other tax that the law requires you to deduct is your responsibility, and amounts payable to us are calculated net of it.

06User Responsibilities

You are responsible for how your workspace is used. In particular, you must:

  • keep sign-in credentials confidential, and not share a login between people — every person needs their own account, since the audit trail attributes actions to the account that performed them;
  • use strong passwords and change them promptly if you suspect they are known to someone else;
  • configure roles and permissions appropriately, and remove access for people who leave your organisation;
  • ensure you have a lawful basis and, where required, consent to enter any personal data about your employees or third parties into the workspace, including phone numbers used for WhatsApp notifications;
  • ensure the content you upload or record in tasks is accurate, lawful, and yours to store;
  • notify us without delay at [email protected] if you become aware of unauthorised access to your workspace.

Administrators in your workspace can view, edit and export data belonging to other users of that workspace, and can view the audit log. That is by design — it is your organisation’s data — and managing who holds administrator rights is your responsibility, not ours.

07Our Responsibilities

We will:

  • provide the TaskIt platform with the features described on this website and in the product, for the term you have paid for;
  • keep each workspace’s data logically isolated — every record is scoped to a company, and requests are authorised against the signed-in user’s company before any data is read or written;
  • apply the security measures described in our Privacy Policy, including encrypted transport, hashed passwords, role-based access control, rate limiting and account lockout;
  • maintain an immutable audit trail of recorded workspace actions;
  • provide support over email and phone during Monday to Saturday, 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM IST, and respond within two working days;
  • give reasonable notice of planned maintenance likely to interrupt service, and of material changes to these Terms.

We do not review, moderate or verify the content you put into your workspace, and we do not use it to train machine-learning models.

08Data Ownership

Your data is yours.

You retain all right, title and interest in the data you and your users put into TaskIt — tasks, handovers, comments, form responses, uploaded files, users, departments and reports (“Customer Data”). We claim no ownership of it.

You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, store, transmit, back up and display Customer Data solely to operate the service for you, to provide support when you ask for it, and to comply with the law. That licence ends when the data is deleted.

  • Export. You can export reports to CSV, Excel and PDF at any time while your subscription is active. Export what you need before a term ends.
  • Retention. We retain Customer Data for the retention period set out in the Privacy Policy after a workspace closes, then delete it.
  • Aggregates. We may compute aggregated, de-identified statistics about platform usage that cannot identify you, your workspace or any individual, and use those to operate and improve the service.

09File Upload Policy

Attachments are private. Files are never served from a public URL: uploading and downloading both require authentication, and every download is re-checked against the requesting user’s workspace, so one company’s files cannot be read by another.

What may be uploaded

  • Permitted file types are JPG, JPEG, PNG, GIF, WEBP, PDF, DOC, DOCX, XLS, XLSX, TXT, CSV and ZIP. Anything else is refused at upload time.
  • Three independent checks run on every upload: the extension must be on the allowlist, the declared file type must agree with the extension, and the actual bytes on disk must match what the filename claims. A file renamed to slip past the list will fail.
  • Executable, script and markup formats — including HTML, SVG, JS, PHP and EXE — are refused outright, because they could otherwise run inside the application.
  • Uploads are subject to a per-file size limit and to the storage your workspace holds — which on a paid plan is exactly the amount you have purchased, as no plan includes any. Workspaces on the free trial have 1 GB. An upload that would take you past your allowance is refused rather than accepted and billed for.

What may not be uploaded

You must not upload malware, content you have no right to store, or personal data of a kind you are not permitted to process — in particular, do not upload payment card numbers, government identity documents you have no lawful basis to hold, or health records. TaskIt is not designed or certified as a repository for those.

We may remove a file that breaches this section or the law, and will tell a workspace administrator when we do.

10Acceptable Use

You must not, and must not permit anyone else to:

  • use the service to store or transmit anything unlawful, defamatory, obscene, harassing, or infringing of anyone’s rights;
  • send unsolicited bulk messages through the WhatsApp integration, or use it in breach of WhatsApp’s own terms — messages you configure are sent under your organisation’s WhatsApp number and are your responsibility;
  • attempt to gain access to another workspace’s data, to accounts you have not been granted, or to any part of our infrastructure;
  • probe, scan, penetration-test, overload or otherwise interfere with the service without our prior written consent;
  • reverse engineer, decompile, copy or create derivative works from the platform, or resell, sublicense or offer it as a service to third parties;
  • circumvent authentication, rate limits, usage limits, plan restrictions or billing;
  • use automated means to extract data at a scale or rate that degrades the service for other customers.

We may investigate suspected breaches and, where the breach is serious or ongoing, suspend access immediately to protect the platform and other customers.

11Intellectual Property

The TaskIt platform — its software, source code, design, user interface, documentation, name, logo and branding — is owned by JIN Solutions and protected by intellectual property law. Nothing in these Terms transfers any of it to you.

For the term of your subscription we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the platform for your organisation’s internal business purposes, subject to these Terms. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

If you send us feedback, suggestions or feature requests, we may use them to improve the product without obligation or payment to you. This does not give us any right to your Customer Data, which remains yours under Data Ownership.

12Service Availability

We aim to keep TaskIt available continuously, and we monitor it, but we do not currently offer a contractual uptime guarantee or service credits. The service is provided on a commercially reasonable-efforts basis.

  • Planned maintenance is scheduled outside Indian business hours wherever practical, and announced in advance when it is likely to interrupt access.
  • Third-party dependencies. Some features rely on services outside our control — Razorpay for payments and the WhatsApp network for notifications. An outage or policy change at one of those can interrupt that feature without affecting the rest of the platform, and is not a failure of the service by us.
  • Message delivery. WhatsApp notification and report delivery depends on the recipient’s number, device and WhatsApp itself. We do not guarantee delivery or delivery time of any individual message, and you should not rely on WhatsApp notifications as the only route for time-critical instructions.
  • Force majeure. We are not liable for failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including network or power failure, hosting-provider outage, natural disaster, government action or industrial action.

13Suspension and Termination

By you

You may stop using TaskIt at any time, and may ask us to close your workspace by writing to [email protected] from a workspace administrator’s registered address. Closure takes effect at the end of your current paid term; it does not by itself entitle you to a refund of that term — see the Refund Policy.

By us

We may suspend or terminate access where:

  • a paid term has expired and has not been renewed;
  • you breach these Terms — for a breach capable of remedy, after notice and a reasonable opportunity to fix it; immediately where the breach is serious, unlawful, or threatens the platform or other customers;
  • we are required to do so by law or by a competent authority.

What happens to your data

Suspension for non-payment pauses access; it does not delete anything. Your data is retained and access is restored on payment. After a workspace is terminated or closed, Customer Data is retained for the period stated in the Privacy Policy so you can request an export, and is then permanently deleted. Export anything you need before that period ends.

14Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, and except for liability that cannot lawfully be limited:

  • The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, goodwill, business opportunity or anticipated savings, however arising.
  • We are not liable for loss or corruption of data caused by your own actions, by a user in your workspace, or by a third-party service you have connected.
  • Our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the service, in contract, tort or otherwise, is limited to the amount you actually paid us for the service in the twelve months immediately before the event giving rise to the claim.

Keep your own backups of anything critical.

We take backups for our own operational resilience, but they are not a substitute for your records. Export the reports and data your organisation needs to retain.

You will indemnify us against claims brought by a third party arising from your Customer Data, your use of the service in breach of these Terms, or messages sent from your workspace.

15Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the product and the law change. The “last updated” date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.

  • For material changes — anything that meaningfully reduces your rights or increases your obligations — we will give at least 30 days’ notice by email to workspace administrators, or by a notice inside the product, before the change takes effect.
  • Minor changes, such as clarifications or corrections, take effect when published.
  • Continuing to use TaskIt after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not accept them, stop using the service and contact us before the change takes effect.
  • A change to these Terms never alters the price of a term you have already paid for.

16Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law rules. The courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with them.

Before starting proceedings, both parties agree to attempt to resolve the dispute in good faith: raise it in writing to [email protected], and we will respond within fifteen working days and try to settle it within thirty.

If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, it is severed and the remainder continues in force. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, are the entire agreement between us regarding the service.

17Contact Information

TaskIt is operated by JIN Solutions, 1st Floor, Semsons Plaza, Near Dahanukarwadi Metro Station, Kandivali West, Mumbai - 400067, India. Questions about these Terms, or notices under them, should go to the address below or through the contact form.

This page describes how TaskIt actually behaves as at 1 August 2026. Where a clause references a product limit — a plan price, an upload type, a storage allowance — the figure shown in your workspace and on your invoice is the operative one.
