Built for work that changes hands

Everything the workflow actually needs

Real capabilities, described as they behave — not marketing categories.

12 feature pages

Every capability, in detail

Each page covers one capability properly: the problem it solves, how it behaves, a worked example and the questions it raises.

Task management

One task ID from the moment work is raised until it is approved, with an owner, a due date and a status at every point.

Task handovers

Move work between people without duplicating the task — the previous owner, what they finished and what they left are all recorded.

Read the detail

Department tasks

Raise work for a whole department instead of guessing a name. Eligible members are notified and either one claims it or several work it together.

Read the detail

Workflow management

A defined lifecycle every task follows — assigned, accepted, in progress, handed over, reviewed, approved — with illegal transitions refused.

Read the detail

Team management

People, departments, roles and permissions in one place — with access that comes from what you configured, never from a job title.

Read the detail

Recurring tasks

Schedules that create real tasks on a daily, weekly, monthly, yearly or custom cadence — in your time zone, with a run history that proves each one fired.

Read the detail

Task automation

The work a person should not have to do: creating repeating tasks, sending event notifications, delivering scheduled reports and retrying what failed.

Read the detail

Custom task forms

Build the create form your work actually needs, from eighteen field types — and reuse the answers in reports and notification templates.

Read the detail

WhatsApp notifications

Task alerts and scheduled reports sent from your own paired WhatsApp number, with templates you control and a delivery history you can check.

Read the detail

Task reports

Eighteen report definitions across tasks, people, workflow, collaboration and recurring work — each exportable to CSV, Excel or PDF.

Performance analytics

Average time to accept, start, complete and turn around — computed from stored task timestamps, never estimated and never scored.

Read the detail

Audit logs

An append-only record of the workspace actions TaskIt tracks — action, acting user, target and time, with changed fields shown as old to new.

Structured task handovers

Work moves between people without the task being duplicated. It keeps its ID and code for its whole life.

  • Each handover records the previous assignee, next assignee, work completed, work still pending, notes, progress and a timestamp.
  • History, audit entries and performance data stay attached to a single record rather than scattering across copies.
  • Accepting a task starts it in one step — there is no separate “start” action to forget.

Department assignment

Raise a task for a whole department instead of naming one person up front.

  • The task is created unowned and every active member of the department is notified.
  • Single Owner: the first member to accept locks the task; everyone else keeps read access.
  • Collaborative: several members join, each logging their own progress, which rolls up into the overall figure.
  • Eligibility resolves live from department membership, so transfers take effect immediately.

Reports and performance analytics

Figures computed from stored timestamps, never estimated or scored.

  • Task, people, workflow, collaboration and recurring report groups, exportable to CSV, Excel and PDF.
  • Average time to accept, start, complete and turn around — per employee, per department and company-wide.
  • A duration is averaged only when both ends exist, so gaps shrink the sample rather than counting as zero.

And the rest

More of what ships in every plan

The three plan terms are feature-identical — nothing is gated behind a more expensive one, and the 30-day trial unlocks everything including WhatsApp. WhatsApp and cloud storage are optional paid add-ons once the trial ends; everything else is simply included.

Recurring schedules

Generate tasks on a repeating cadence without hand-copying them.

  • Daily, weekly, monthly, yearly and custom intervals, each in a chosen time zone
  • Preview upcoming occurrences, then pause, resume, skip one, duplicate or cancel
  • Generated tasks link back to the schedule and occurrence that produced them
  • Cancelling a schedule never deletes tasks it already created

Unable-to-complete handling

A stuck task says so instead of sitting silently overdue.

  • The assignee marks it blocked with a reason — predefined or their own, remembered for reuse
  • The reason is written to activity history and the audit log
  • A manager then reassigns, resumes, reopens or cancels it

Custom task forms

Capture the fields your work actually needs.

  • Build company-specific fields; every workspace starts with a default form
  • Field answers can be inserted into WhatsApp message templates
  • Every create form includes a due-date picker with a past-date guard

Roles and permissions

Access comes from the permissions you configure — never granted implicitly.

  • Admin, Manager and Employee base roles, plus custom roles from granular permission keys
  • A base role is a starting template only — a narrowed role stays narrowed
  • Permission changes reach signed-in users on their next token refresh

Audit log

An immutable record of recorded workspace actions.

  • Action, acting user, target entity and time, newest first
  • Where before/after snapshots exist, changed fields show as old → new
  • Viewing it requires an explicit permission

Board, table and grid views

Look at the same tasks the way the question needs you to.

  • Table by default, plus a status-column board and a card grid — switched per person
  • The board paginates each status column on its own, so a busy column cannot bury the rest
  • Filter by status, priority, department, assignment type and team member
  • Dashboard figures link through to the task list already filtered to what you clicked

Review and approval

Finished work is checked before it counts as done.

  • Submitted work is approved or rejected by the task’s creator, or by anyone holding the review permission
  • Nobody reviews their own submission — a creator who is also the current assignee is excluded
  • Select tasks awaiting review in the table and apply one decision to up to 200 of them at once
  • Each task in a batch comes back reviewed, skipped or failed; one failure never aborts the rest

Role-specific dashboards

Each role opens on the view that matches what they are responsible for.

  • Admin command centre: a needs-your-attention queue, KPI cards, charts, department health and activity
  • Dedicated Manager and Employee dashboards rather than one shared screen
  • A shared strip across all three: upcoming deadlines, pinned tasks and recently viewed
  • Time-tracking figures on the Manager and Employee dashboards come from stored task timestamps

WhatsApp notifications

Reach people where they already are.

  • Each workspace pairs its own WhatsApp number through a self-hosted gateway
  • Create, handover and completion events — each switchable, to assignee, group, or both
  • Customisable templates with variables and tappable mentions
  • Scheduled daily, weekly and monthly reports with preview, test send and delivery history
