Terms & Conditions
Updated version — takes effect on 12 November 2026.
Contents
01Acceptance of Terms
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between JIN Solutions (“we”, “us”, “our”), which operates the TaskIt platform, and the organisation and individuals using it (“you”, “your”, the “Customer”).
By creating a workspace, signing in, or using TaskIt in any way, you confirm that you have read and accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, which are incorporated into this agreement by reference. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.
Where you accept these Terms on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to bind that company, and “you” means that company.
02Eligibility
To create or use a TaskIt workspace, you must:
- be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a contract;
- be using the service for a business, organisational or professional purpose — TaskIt is not a consumer product;
- provide accurate registration details, including a working email address and, where you want WhatsApp notifications, a valid mobile number;
- not be barred from receiving the service under the laws of India or any applicable sanctions regime.
We may decline, suspend or close any registration that does not meet these requirements.
03Subscription Plans
Every new workspace begins with a 30-day free trial. The trial includes the core features and the WhatsApp module, at no cost, and requires no payment card. The Media Library (which file uploads need), Master Data and the in-app Guide are not switched on automatically, on a trial or a paid plan; they are enabled only by a TaskIt Super Admin. Two limits apply to the trial, and only to it:
- Cloud storage is capped at 1 GB, free of charge. Once that is reached, further uploads are refused until you purchase storage. This is the only storage included at no cost anywhere in the service.
- Uploaded files are kept for 15 days and are then deleted automatically. Only the stored files are removed. Your tasks, comments, activity history, audit logs, users and reports are never deleted by this, and every deletion is recorded in your audit log.
Subscribing stops the automatic deletion — files are no longer removed on a timer, and everything already in the workspace is preserved. Storage itself is purchased separately: the trial’s free 1 GB does not carry over, so a workspace that subscribes without buying storage keeps and can download every existing file but cannot upload new ones until it does. When the trial ends without a subscription, continued access requires a paid plan.
Billing terms are fixed — monthly, six-monthly or annual — and the three are feature-identical, at the same rate per member per month; a longer term is not discounted. A plan carries no charge of its own. It determines only how long a paid period runs and how many months your team and any modules are billed for in advance. Everything you pay is set out in the add-on table below — principally ₹45 per active team member per month.
| Billing term | Invoice covers | Rate per active member | A team of 10 (excl. GST) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Monthly | 1 month | ₹45/month | ₹450/month |
| 6 Months | 6 months | ₹45/month | ₹2,700 per 6 months |
| 12 Months | 12 months | ₹45/month | ₹5,400 per 12 months |
Every term includes unlimited departments, task forms, roles and permissions, lifetime data history and reporting. Cloud storage is not included with any plan — it is purchased by the GB through the add-on below. A workspace that subscribes without buying storage can still use every other feature, but cannot upload new files. Add-ons are quoted per month and charged for your plan’s full term on the same invoice:
| Add-on | Price | What it covers |
|---|---|---|
| WhatsApp Module | ₹499/month | Task, handover and report notifications delivered over WhatsApp. Free during your trial. |
| Cloud Storage | ₹249 per GB/month | Cloud storage for your files, bought by the GB. Trials include 1 GB free; paid plans add exactly what you purchase. |
| Employees | ₹45 per employee/month | Charged for every active member of the workspace. On a paid plan, adding members beyond the seats you have paid for needs extra seats first. |
The employee charge is not optional and is not a number you choose. It is calculated from the number of active members in your workspace when a renewal is priced for payment — when an administrator starts a payment, or, with automatic renewal, when the advance notice of the charge is sent. Adding, activating, deactivating or removing someone therefore changes your next renewal, and your subscription page always shows the current figure and what your next renewal will come to.
During a paid period, the number of members who can be active is the number your last renewal paid for, plus any seats bought since (during the free trial there is no limit). To activate more, buy additional seats from your subscription page. Each seat is charged at the per-member rate for your full billing term, whenever in the term it is bought — it is not pro-rated — and it runs to the end of the current period without changing your renewal date. Deactivating a member frees their seat for someone else at no charge.
You may change your plan or your optional add-ons at any time from your subscription page. Changes apply from your next invoice; a period you have already paid for runs to its end date. Current prices are always those published on the pricing page, and we may revise them on 30 days’ notice — a revision never changes the price of a term you have already paid for.
04Billing and Payment
Payments are processed by Razorpay, our payment gateway. We do not receive or store your card number, CVV, UPI PIN or netbanking credentials at any point — those are handled entirely by Razorpay under their own terms and PCI-DSS obligations.
Renewal is manual unless an administrator turns on automatic renewal.
Renewal bills and invoices
- Before a paid period ends we prepare the bill for the next term and remind workspace administrators, in the product and on WhatsApp. A reminder that is missed or not delivered does not change the due date or extend the period.
- Until it is paid, a renewal bill is a pro-forma: it is priced on your current team and add-ons and re-priced when a payment is started. The GST tax invoice, with its invoice number, is issued when payment is received and can be downloaded as a PDF from your subscription page.
- Payment is due on receipt of the bill, and in any case before the paid period ends. All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and payable in full and in advance of the term they cover.
Paying manually
- An administrator can pay online from the subscription page, through Razorpay’s checkout and the payment methods it offers there, or by bank transfer to the account printed on the bill, quoting the reference shown on it. A bank transfer is matched to your bill by our team rather than automatically, so allow time for it to be applied before your access would end.
- A payment that fails, is declined or is abandoned changes nothing: the bill stays unpaid and you can try again.
- A successful payment extends access by the bill’s own term — a 12-month payment grants 12 months. Paid before the current period ends, the new term starts when the current one ends; paid after it has ended, the new term starts on the day of payment.
Grace period and unpaid renewals
- If a paid period ends unpaid, access continues for 3 more days, to the end of the last of those days in India Standard Time, so that a late or still-settling payment does not lock your team out. A renewal paid during those days starts on the day of payment, as above.
- If the renewal is still unpaid when the grace period ends — whether it was to be paid manually or automatically — workspace access is paused. Your data is retained — see Suspension & Termination.
Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
05Automatic Renewal (Optional)
Automatic renewal lets a workspace administrator authorise us, through Razorpay, to charge a card or UPI account for each renewal of the workspace’s subscription. Where we offer it, it is entirely optional. If you do not turn it on, nothing in this section applies to you and you keep renewing manually as described in Billing and Payment.
Turning it on
- Only a workspace administrator can turn it on, and only for a workspace on an active paid subscription — not during the free trial — whose billing details are complete. It may not yet be offered to every workspace.
- It is available for renewals estimated below ₹15,000 including GST, charged to a debit or credit card or through UPI AutoPay. Not every card, bank or UPI app supports recurring payments; if yours does not, the authorisation fails and you can keep renewing manually.
- Before you authorise, the subscription page shows the terms you are agreeing to: how renewals are calculated, the current estimate, the maximum for a single charge, when charges and retries happen, how to turn it off, and the version of these Terms that applies. You agree by ticking a box that is never pre-ticked. We record who agreed, when, from which IP address, the Terms version, and a fingerprint of the exact wording shown.
- You then authorise the payment method in Razorpay’s own window. A payment of ₹1 is taken to set up the authorisation. It is not applied to any bill, and we refund it to the payment method it came from within 7 days.
- Automatic renewal starts only when our servers have confirmed with Razorpay that the authorisation is active — not when your browser reports that the payment window closed. Until then, or if your bank declines it, the workspace stays on manual renewal. Some UPI authorisations take a while for the bank to confirm.
- The authorisation belongs to the workspace, not to the administrator who set it up: it continues if that person leaves, until an administrator turns it off or it ends as described below.
How much is charged
- Each renewal is calculated when it is due, in exactly the way a manual renewal is: the per-member rate for your billing term × your active members, plus your add-ons, plus GST. It therefore changes as your team and add-ons change. Your subscription page always shows the current estimate.
- When you authorise, the maximum for a single charge is set at 1.5 times the estimate at that moment, rounded up to the rupee, and never more than ₹15,000. It is shown to you before you agree, and on Razorpay’s authorisation screen.
- A renewal above that maximum is not charged. We tell you, and you can pay it manually or authorise again with a higher maximum.
- The amount in the advance notice is the amount charged. Once the notice has been sent the bill is not re-priced: a later change to your team or add-ons is reflected in the following renewal, and activating more members than were paid for still needs additional seats.
- Automatic renewal pays renewal bills only. Additional seats bought during a term are always paid manually.
Notice before each charge, and retries
- The automatic process starts about 3 days before your paid period ends. We ask Razorpay to send you an advance notice of the charge, and we notify your administrators, in the product and on WhatsApp, of the amount and the date from which it will be charged.
- The charge is made only after Razorpay confirms that the advance notice was delivered, and no sooner than the waiting period that follows it — currently about 36 hours for cards and about 25 hours for UPI. If the notice is not delivered, nothing is charged.
- Until the charge has been sent to your bank you can still pay manually; the automatic charge for that bill is then withdrawn. Once it has been sent, manual payment of that bill is unavailable until your bank’s result is known, so that you are not charged twice.
- If a charge fails, we tell you and may try again — at most 2 more times for the same renewal, each no sooner than 24 hours after the failure, and only while the charge and its advance notice can still complete before your access would end. Because of the notice periods, a second retry is often not possible in that time. A failure that retrying cannot fix — a renewal above your maximum, an authorisation that is paused, cancelled or expired, or no administrator email address and mobile number on file — is not retried.
- When an automatic charge cannot be made in time, we ask you to pay manually. Automatic renewal does not guarantee uninterrupted access: if the renewal is not paid, automatically or manually, by the end of the grace period, access is paused as described in Billing and Payment.
- No automatic charge is made while a workspace is suspended, blocked or cancelled.
- If you pay a renewal by bank transfer while automatic renewal is on, turn automatic renewal off or tell us first, so the same renewal is not also charged automatically.
Turning it off, and when it ends
- An administrator can turn automatic renewal off at any time on the subscription page. You can also cancel the authorisation with your bank, card issuer or UPI app. Turning it off moves the workspace back to manual renewal at once, withdraws any automatic charge not yet sent to your bank, and asks Razorpay to cancel the authorisation. Your paid period is not changed.
- Turning it off cannot recall a charge already sent to your bank. If that charge succeeds it pays the renewal like any other payment. If you did not want it, contact us — the Refund Policy explains when such a charge is refunded.
- If you pause a UPI authorisation, nothing is charged until you resume it. If the authorisation is cancelled at your bank or app, expires (we request a validity of 10 years), or the subscription is cancelled, no further automatic charges are made, we tell you where the change is reported to us, and the workspace returns to manual renewal. To use automatic renewal again, authorise again.
- We may stop offering automatic renewal, for example if Razorpay or the payment networks stop supporting it. If we do, we will tell the administrators of the workspaces using it, no further automatic charges will be made, and manual renewal remains available.
Razorpay and your payment details
- Razorpay processes the authorisation and every automatic charge, under its own terms and the rules of the card networks, UPI and the Reserve Bank of India. Your bank, card issuer or UPI app may apply its own limits, approvals or charges, which we do not control.
- Your card number, CVV and UPI PIN are entered only in Razorpay’s window. We never receive or store them. We keep Razorpay’s references to the authorisation, its maximum and status, and a masked reference such as “Visa ••4242” or a partly hidden UPI ID.
- To register and charge the authorisation we share with Razorpay the workspace name and the email address and mobile number of the administrator who set it up — or, if that person is no longer an active administrator, of another administrator of the workspace. See the Privacy Policy.
06GST and Taxes
Every price we publish — plan prices and add-on prices alike — is exclusive of GST. Goods and Services Tax is added at the prevailing rate, currently 18%, and applied once to the combined subtotal of your team and any add-ons.
| Billing term | Subtotal | GST @ 18% | Total payable |
|---|---|---|---|
| Monthly | ₹450 | ₹81 | ₹531 |
| 6 Months | ₹2,700 | ₹486 | ₹3,186 |
| 12 Months | ₹5,400 | ₹972 | ₹6,372 |
- Tax is charged and collected under the GST law of India, and every invoice we issue is a valid tax invoice showing the tax separately.
- If the statutory rate changes, the new rate applies to invoices issued after the change; it does not alter an invoice already issued.
- Invoices are issued to the billing address in your workspace’s billing details, which an administrator must complete before paying. GST is charged as CGST and SGST or as IGST according to the state in that address, and an issued invoice is not changed afterwards.
- Any withholding or other tax that the law requires you to deduct is your responsibility, and amounts payable to us are calculated net of it.
07User Responsibilities
You are responsible for how your workspace is used. In particular, you must:
- keep sign-in credentials confidential, and not share a login between people — every person needs their own account, since the audit trail attributes actions to the account that performed them;
- use strong passwords and change them promptly if you suspect they are known to someone else;
- configure roles and permissions appropriately, and remove access for people who leave your organisation;
- ensure you have a lawful basis and, where required, consent to enter any personal data about your employees or third parties into the workspace, including phone numbers used for WhatsApp notifications;
- ensure the content you upload or record in tasks is accurate, lawful, and yours to store;
- notify us without delay at [email protected] if you become aware of unauthorised access to your workspace.
Administrators in your workspace can view, edit and export data belonging to other users of that workspace, and can view the audit log. That is by design — it is your organisation’s data — and managing who holds administrator rights is your responsibility, not ours.
08Our Responsibilities
We will:
- provide the TaskIt platform with the features described on this website and in the product, for the term you have paid for;
- keep each workspace’s data logically isolated — every record is scoped to a company, and requests are authorised against the signed-in user’s company before any data is read or written;
- apply the security measures described in our Privacy Policy, including encrypted transport, hashed passwords, role-based access control, rate limiting and account lockout;
- maintain an immutable audit trail of recorded workspace actions;
- provide support over email and phone during Monday to Saturday, 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM IST, and respond within two working days;
- give reasonable notice of planned maintenance likely to interrupt service, and of material changes to these Terms.
We do not review, moderate or verify the content you put into your workspace, and we do not use it to train machine-learning models.
09Data Ownership
Your data is yours.
You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, store, transmit, back up and display Customer Data solely to operate the service for you, to provide support when you ask for it, and to comply with the law. That licence ends when the data is deleted.
- Export. You can export reports to CSV, Excel and PDF at any time while your subscription is active. Export what you need before a term ends.
- Retention. We retain Customer Data for the retention period set out in the Privacy Policy after a workspace closes, then delete it.
- Aggregates. We may compute aggregated, de-identified statistics about platform usage that cannot identify you, your workspace or any individual, and use those to operate and improve the service.
10File Upload Policy
Attachments are private. Files are never served from a public URL: uploading and downloading both require authentication, and every download is re-checked against the requesting user’s workspace, so one company’s files cannot be read by another.
What may be uploaded
- Permitted file types are JPG, JPEG, PNG, GIF, WEBP, PDF, DOC, DOCX, XLS, XLSX, TXT, CSV and ZIP. Anything else is refused at upload time.
- Three independent checks run on every upload: the extension must be on the allowlist, the declared file type must agree with the extension, and the actual bytes on disk must match what the filename claims. A file renamed to slip past the list will fail.
- Executable, script and markup formats — including HTML, SVG, JS, PHP and EXE — are refused outright, because they could otherwise run inside the application.
- Uploads are subject to a per-file size limit and to the storage your workspace holds — which on a paid plan is exactly the amount you have purchased, as no plan includes any. Workspaces on the free trial have 1 GB. An upload that would take you past your allowance is refused rather than accepted and billed for.
What may not be uploaded
You must not upload malware, content you have no right to store, or personal data of a kind you are not permitted to process — in particular, do not upload payment card numbers, government identity documents you have no lawful basis to hold, or health records. TaskIt is not designed or certified as a repository for those.
We may remove a file that breaches this section or the law, and will tell a workspace administrator when we do.
11Acceptable Use
You must not, and must not permit anyone else to:
- use the service to store or transmit anything unlawful, defamatory, obscene, harassing, or infringing of anyone’s rights;
- send unsolicited bulk messages through the WhatsApp integration, or use it in breach of WhatsApp’s own terms — messages you configure are sent under your organisation’s WhatsApp number and are your responsibility;
- attempt to gain access to another workspace’s data, to accounts you have not been granted, or to any part of our infrastructure;
- probe, scan, penetration-test, overload or otherwise interfere with the service without our prior written consent;
- reverse engineer, decompile, copy or create derivative works from the platform, or resell, sublicense or offer it as a service to third parties;
- circumvent authentication, rate limits, usage limits, plan restrictions or billing;
- use automated means to extract data at a scale or rate that degrades the service for other customers.
We may investigate suspected breaches and, where the breach is serious or ongoing, suspend access immediately to protect the platform and other customers.
12Intellectual Property
The TaskIt platform — its software, source code, design, user interface, documentation, name, logo and branding — is owned by JIN Solutions and protected by intellectual property law. Nothing in these Terms transfers any of it to you.
For the term of your subscription we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the platform for your organisation’s internal business purposes, subject to these Terms. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
If you send us feedback, suggestions or feature requests, we may use them to improve the product without obligation or payment to you. This does not give us any right to your Customer Data, which remains yours under Data Ownership.
13Service Availability
We aim to keep TaskIt available continuously, and we monitor it, but we do not currently offer a contractual uptime guarantee or service credits. The service is provided on a commercially reasonable-efforts basis.
- Planned maintenance is scheduled outside Indian business hours wherever practical, and announced in advance when it is likely to interrupt access.
- Third-party dependencies. Some features rely on services outside our control — Razorpay for payments and the WhatsApp network for notifications. An outage or policy change at one of those can interrupt that feature without affecting the rest of the platform, and is not a failure of the service by us.
- Message delivery. WhatsApp notification and report delivery depends on the recipient’s number, device and WhatsApp itself. We do not guarantee delivery or delivery time of any individual message, and you should not rely on WhatsApp notifications as the only route for time-critical instructions.
- Force majeure. We are not liable for failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including network or power failure, hosting-provider outage, natural disaster, government action or industrial action.
14Suspension and Termination
By you
You may stop using TaskIt at any time, and may ask us to close your workspace by writing to [email protected] from a workspace administrator’s registered address. Closure takes effect at the end of your current paid term; it does not by itself entitle you to a refund of that term — see the Refund Policy.
By us
We may suspend or terminate access where:
- a paid term has expired and has not been renewed, manually or automatically, by the end of the grace period;
- you breach these Terms — for a breach capable of remedy, after notice and a reasonable opportunity to fix it; immediately where the breach is serious, unlawful, or threatens the platform or other customers;
- we are required to do so by law or by a competent authority.
What happens to your data
Suspension for non-payment pauses access; it does not delete anything. Your data is retained and access is restored on payment. After a workspace is terminated or closed, Customer Data is retained for the period stated in the Privacy Policy so you can request an export, and is then permanently deleted. Export anything you need before that period ends.
15Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, and except for liability that cannot lawfully be limited:
- The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, goodwill, business opportunity or anticipated savings, however arising.
- We are not liable for loss or corruption of data caused by your own actions, by a user in your workspace, or by a third-party service you have connected.
- Our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the service, in contract, tort or otherwise, is limited to the amount you actually paid us for the service in the twelve months immediately before the event giving rise to the claim.
Keep your own backups of anything critical.
You will indemnify us against claims brought by a third party arising from your Customer Data, your use of the service in breach of these Terms, or messages sent from your workspace.
16Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as the product and the law change. The “last updated” date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
- For material changes — anything that meaningfully reduces your rights or increases your obligations — we will give at least 30 days’ notice by email to workspace administrators, or by a notice inside the product, before the change takes effect.
- Minor changes, such as clarifications or corrections, take effect when published.
- Continuing to use TaskIt after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not accept them, stop using the service and contact us before the change takes effect.
- A change to these Terms never alters the price of a term you have already paid for.
- An optional feature described here, such as automatic renewal, applies to you only once an administrator turns it on. Its description in these Terms does not enrol you.
This version is effective from 12 November 2026, following notice to workspace administrators on 13 October 2026. Automatic renewal is not available to any workspace before that date.
17Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law rules. The courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with them.
Before starting proceedings, both parties agree to attempt to resolve the dispute in good faith: raise it in writing to [email protected], and we will respond within fifteen working days and try to settle it within thirty.
If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, it is severed and the remainder continues in force. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, are the entire agreement between us regarding the service.
18Contact Information
TaskIt is operated by JIN Solutions, Unit No. A-1, First Floor, Divya Plaza, Gaurav Garden, Bandar Pakhadi Road, Kandivali (West), Mumbai - 400067, India. Questions about these Terms, or notices under them, should go to the address below or through the contact form.
This page describes how TaskIt actually behaves as at 12 November 2026. Where a clause references a product limit — a plan price, an upload type, a storage allowance — the figure shown in your workspace and on your invoice is the operative one. Version reference: terms-2026-11-12 — the reference recorded when an administrator agrees to automatic renewal.
